Small Cabinet Doors = Organizational Problems. We can help!
Updated: May 14
If you're like us, you want to get the most out of your cabinet space. One of the many great things about our custom slide out shelves is that we can take a cabinet with two small doors and add full size slide out shelves. Want to know how? Keep reading!
When you have two small doors on a cabinet, you typically have what we call a stile down the middle. Contrary to what some believe, the small piece of wood down the middle doesn't provide the cabinet any necessary support; it is purely cosmetic. When you open each side of the cabinet, you have a very small space to work with. Unfortunately, this can be an organizational nightmare, but we have a solution. We are able to remove that stile and mount it to the left door.
By doing this, we now have a full width opening to work with. The benefit to taking out the style is that you now have space to add three full size pull out shelves. All three slide outs become full extension so there is truly no space lost.
Don't allow a stile to stand in the way of your organizational needs. If you would like to bring out the space you already have, head to our contact page. What would you do with that type of space?
